Many Thanks to Catriona Langford & friends who ran the Glasgow Womans Ingus 10k earlier this year and raised £130.00 for the Foundation.Catriona tells me next year they have persuaded the PE teacher from Carolside Primary to drum up more runners.The PE teacher has very kindy agreed and also agreed to draw up a training plan.Weel Done Ladies !! here’s to 2012

A massive well done to Kris Devlin who recently completed the 2011 London Virgin Active Triathlon in 3 hrs 3 mins and 4 secs.Not only was this a fantastic achievement for Kris but he is expecting to raise approx £2000.00 for the Foundation.

Kris has now fully recovered and looking forward to beating his time next year.A huge thank you and well done Kris.

Thank you to Paulene Martin, a work colleague of Lorna’s, who recently hosted a “Party Light” candle party at her home.

Paulene kindly donated her commision from the sales of the party and the proceeds from a small raffle raising £146.00 on the evening.

Many Thanks to Charlotte Finnie and Friends from the South Lanarkshire Siver Dollar Line Dancing Club who very kindly donated £60.00 to the Foundation in Memory of Katie Wymant.

Congratulations to Stuart Hamilton (Kieran’s Cousin) who ran a respectable time of 2hrs 11min in the recent Chippenham Half Marathon in aid of The Foundation.

Stuart’s fantastic achievement raised £274.50.Many thanks to all who supported him on the day and congratulations once again Stuart,Well Done !! Here’s to the full marathon next year.
